What Hassle Bot is
Hassle Bot is an AI-powered career tool. It reviews your CV, provides feedback, and generates an improved version. It is not an employment agency — we don’t find jobs for you, contact employers on your behalf, or guarantee employment outcomes.
Who operates it
Hassle Bot is operated by CDSoft Ltd, a South African company. Our primary market is South Africa, but the service is accessible internationally.

Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hassle Bot. The service involves processing personal career information and making payments.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Hassle Bot for anything illegal or abusive. Don’t upload CVs belonging to other people without their consent. You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your CV. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
Your account
- Accounts are created via email verification code — no passwords
- You are responsible for access to your email address
- One account per email address
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service
Consent and data
By using Hassle Bot, you consent to:
- Storage of your chat messages for the purpose of providing the service
- Processing of your CV by AI to generate reviews and rewrites
- Storage of your CV on our infrastructure
- Receiving transactional emails (verification codes, CV delivery)
- Technical error monitoring to maintain the service
We will only send marketing emails (new features, profile invitations) if you opt in during your conversation with Hassle. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or by using the “Start fresh” option (before registration) to clear your session.
If you don’t create an account, your data is automatically deleted after 14 days. For registered accounts, data is kept while your account is active and deleted after 12 months of inactivity. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Payments
- Payments are processed by PayFast (Network International) in South African Rand (ZAR)
- By proceeding with payment, you consent to the service beginning immediately
- Once CV processing has begun, cancellation for change of mind is not available
- If we fail to deliver your CV rewrite, contact us for a refund
- Not happy with the result? Contact us and we will do our best to meet your needs
AI-generated content
- CV reviews and rewrites are generated by AI and reviewed by a human
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated content
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing the final CV before using it
- AI output may contain errors — verify all facts, dates, and claims
Ownership
The rewritten CV is yours. You own the output and can use it however you like. We retain a copy on our infrastructure for the purpose of providing the service (revisions, support).
Availability
Hassle Bot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
Not an employment agency
Hassle Bot is a candidate-side SaaS tool. We are not registered as an employment agency under the Employment Services Act. We do not:
- Match candidates to jobs
- Contact employers on your behalf
- Charge fees for job placement
- Guarantee employment outcomes
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Hassle Bot at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. If you have paid for a CV rewrite that has not been delivered, you are entitled to a refund.
Limitation of liability
CDSoft Ltd is not liable for:
- Employment outcomes or lack thereof
- Loss of data (though we take reasonable measures to prevent it)
- Interruption of service
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in South African courts.
